INDUSTRIAL ACTION AT CHERRYBROOK TECHNOLOGY HIGH SCHOOL
Thursday 8 December 2016
The NSW Teachers’ Federation has called a stop work meeting on Thursday 8 December to discuss the NSW State Government’s proposed teaching award for the next 12 months.
As a result, the majority of staff will not be on duty between 8.30am and 10.40am.
During this period the school will not be able to provide normal lessons for students. However, minimal supervision will be available. Parents are advised that, if possible, they should organise alternative arrangements for the care of their child during this time.
The school will resume normal operations at 10.40am with a 10 minute roll call. The stop work meeting will impact on the scheduled school’s annual Sports Presentation Assembly, which will now start at 10.50am.
All students in Years 7, 8, 9 & 11 will be attending the assembly. A normal school day will follow after the Sports Presentation Assembly.
