The PDHPE faculty at Cherrybrook Technology High School is staffed by highly skilled and experienced teachers who work cooperatively to provide students with learning experiences which cater for a wide variety of skills.
PDHPE is a very dynamic area of study and as a faculty we are constantly aware of the need to resource, update and ensure that our teaching material is relevant to our students. All our courses, mandatory and elective, provide the opportunity for all students to enhance their well-being and personal development.
PDHPE contributes significantly to individuals’ cognitive, social, emotional and physical development and provides ways for students to adopt and maintain a healthy, productive and active life. It involves students learning through movement experiences that are both challenging and enjoyable, improving their capacity to move with skill and confidence in a variety of contexts.
